Typhoon Pablo, with the International Name Bopha, is one the strongest typhoons that hit the Philippines this year, leaving destruction to many lives and properties in the archipelago.
The Philippine Government and Non-Government Organizations call for donations to help the Typhoon Pablo Survivors.

TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING: TYPHOON “#PabloPH” (BOPHA)
ISSUED AT 05:00 AM, 04 DECEMBER 2012

TYPHOON PABLO has made landfall over Baganga, Davao Oriental.

Location of eye/center: At 4:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon “PABLO” was located based on satellite and surface data at 40 km East of the eastern coast of Davao Oriental (7.6°N, 126.9ÂșE).

Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph

Movement: Forecast to move West at 26 kph.

Forecast Positions: Typhoon “PABLO” is expected to be at 180 km Southwest of Roxas City by tomorrow morning. By Thursday morning, it will be at 230 km Northwest of Puerto Princesa City and at 780 km West of Metro Manila by Friday morning.

Public Storm Warning Signal #3:
(Winds of 101-185kph is expected in at least 18 hrs.)

Visayas: Southern Leyte, Bohol, Negros Oriental, Siquijor and Southern Cebu.

Mindanao: Surigao del Norte incl. Siargao, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Province, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Bukidnon, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, North Cotabato, Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur and Davao del Norte incl. Samal Is.

Public Storm Warning Signal #2:
(Winds of 61-100 kph is expected within the next 24 hours)

Visayas: Rest of Cebu including Camotes Is,
Iloilo, Guimaras, Capiz, Leyte incl. Biliran and Negros Occidental

Mindanao: Davao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat, Zamboanga Sibugay and Maguindanao

Public Storm Warning Signal #1:
(Winds of 45-60kph is expected within the next 36 hours)

Luzon: Palawan incl. Calamian Grp. Of Islands, Ticao Island and Masbate

Visayas: Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Western Samar,
Aklan and Antique

Mindanao: Basilan, Sarangani and South Cotabato

* Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 to 30 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 600 km diameter of the typhoon.

* Residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.

* Likewise, residents in coastal areas under public storm warning signal #2 and signal #3 are alerted against storm surges particulary those living in the coastal areas of Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat, Bohol and Leyte provinces where 3-6 meters wave height is expected.

* Fishing boats and other sea vessels are advised not to venture out into the Eastern Seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao.

* The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 AM today.
