What is Play Therapy?

Play therapy, an effective technique wherein children's natural manner of expression, play, is utilized as a therapeutic way to help in coping with trauma, problems, or emotional stress..

What are the Stages of Play?

1. Solitary Play
A kid is inside a room with other kids, but he/she is playing alone

2. Parallel Play
  Kids are playing together in the same room, but they are not doing the same thing.

3. Associative Play 
Kids are doing or playing the same activity or game, but they are not together or connecting with each another

4. Cooperative Play
 Kids are working together, and with each other, to play the same game.
